Our Lip Balm Holder is barely larger than a little finger. It may be one of the smallest leather pieces we create, but it begins with the same material, consideration and handwork that define our larger pieces.
Each holder is handcrafted from premium German Noblessa calfskin by Perlinger—a leather selected for its refined texture, rich colour and beautifully structured character.

Because each Lip Balm Holder is constructed from two leather pieces, the pairing becomes an important part of the design.
Different colours are placed together, compared and rearranged until the combination feels balanced. Some pairings are subtle and tonal. Others introduce a quiet contrast.
The final choice may appear simple, but it is the result of careful consideration.

Made One Stitch at a Time
Once the colours have been selected, the two pieces are carefully assembled and stitched by hand.
The stitching follows the small form of the holder one stitch at a time. A metal ring is then attached, transforming the piece into an accessory that can travel easily from one bag to another.
Finally, a Burt’s Bees lip balm is placed inside, revealing the finished form: compact, functional and made to become part of an everyday routine.
Attached to a handbag, tote or pouch, the holder keeps a small essential close at hand while adding a subtle detail of colour and craftsmanship.
