Raised in the alpine regions, where they endure biting winds and rugged high-altitude terrain, the Simmental cattle develop a leather hide of unparalleled fiber density and resilience.

This is not a superficial, uniform pattern stamped onto the surface by a mechanical press. The exquisite grain of Perlinger Shrunken Calf is achieved by harnessing the leather's natural shrinkage process. Look closely at the surface:
